Mother's Day is almost here, and so is our annual Mother's Day Offering!

Jacksonville, we are coming to YOU!

Join us on May 8th from 10 AM – 7 PM as we celebrate this incredible milestone for our community. Kick things off with us at the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony at 10 AM, then stop in anytime through 7 PM for a drop-in tour and see firsthand how Christ-centered care is transforming the lives of vulnerable children and struggling families in Jacksonville and beyond.

We serve hungry children, foster children, trafficked children, single moms, and struggling families, and this new center means we can do even more.

This month at One More Child, we are praying for our foster care teams and the incredible families who have opened their homes and hearts to children in need!

Foster care is one of the most meaningful ways to make a difference in the life of a child, and we are honored to walk alongside every family who says yes. At One More Child, we empower and support the children in our care and stand beside foster families every step of the way.

Big news! One More Child is now licensing foster families in Hillsborough County, and we are growing our team to meet the need!

We are currently hiring Licensing Specialists to come alongside foster families and help them through the licensing process. This is more than a job, it's an opportunity to be part of something bigger!

In a small community in Colombia, something extraordinary began to happen.

It started with just two little girls and a Bible. Then a few more pulled up a chair, then a few more after that. Before long, nearly ten girls were gathering together every single day, all hungry to hear the Word of God!

These girls have already read through Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and are now in Numbers, and they are not stopping anytime soon!

To every single person who has walked through the doors of our Compassion Centers and campuses to serve: thank you. Thank you for saying yes. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for caring about the vulnerable children and struggling families in our community. Without you, the work we do would not be possible.

A special shoutout to MIDFLORIDA Credit Union for coming out and packing emergency kits for families and individuals in crisis. That kind of hands-on service makes a real, lasting difference, and we are so grateful for your heart for our community.

Last night, One More Child was honored to throw the first pitch at the Lakeland Flying Tigers Baseball game, and we had the absolute best time!

We met new friends and grew community relationships! We loved every single conversation from last night!

Thank you to the Flying Tigers and Joker Marchant Stadium for having us, we are so grateful! These memories will last a lifetime for our families who attended last night!

This Volunteer Appreciation Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every person who has ever hosted a diaper drive, coordinated a donation, or given sacrificially to support vulnerable children and struggling families in our care. Your generosity does not go unnoticed, and it changes lives!

Over the past 4 years, TJ has made it his personal mission to save his own money, rally his friends and family, and host a diaper drive every single year. And every single year, he exceeds his goal!

TJ is living proof that no one is too young to make a difference. His heart for vulnerable children and struggling families is an inspiration to all of us, and to every person who wonders if their contribution really matters. It does!

There is nothing quite like going on missions.

Praying with families, providing food, making home visits, sharing the gospel, and loving on vulnerable children and struggling families in a way that words simply cannot describe. It is the kind of experience that changes you just as much as it changes them.

We thank everyone who has said yes to missions!
