If you’ve spent much time around baseball in Cherokee County, there’s a good chance you crossed paths with Addy Wilson somewhere along the way.
Before softball. Before college recruiting. Before all the opportunities that have followed… baseball was Addy’s first love. ❤️⚾️
As her athletic journey evolved, Addy eventually made the move to softball to pursue her dream of playing at the collegiate level, but she never walked away from the game that started it all.
Instead, she kept chasing both. That journey ultimately led Addy to earn the incredible opportunity to wear USA across her chest as a member of the USA Women’s National Baseball Team, competing on the world stage in the sport she has loved since she was little. 🇺🇸
Addy is a multi-sport athlete, but what makes us proudest goes far beyond what she does on a field. She genuinely loves her community and giving back. Over the years, you may have seen her playing, practicing, helping younger athletes or simply lending a hand with different baseball organizations throughout Cherokee County.
Now we have an opportunity to show up for her! Addy is currently competing for Youth Athlete of the Year, an opportunity that includes $25,000 and features with Sports Illustrated and CBS. The campaign also supports the Why Not You Foundation, with free daily voting available as well as votes through donations.
