We’ve got a FULL Saturday of Cherokee Warriors football coming up and we need our WARRIOR FAMILIES LOUD & PROUD! 🔥❤️🖤

From our K-1 boys all the way through 5th grade, our Warriors are hitting the field across the county! Whether we’re defending Tommy Baker Field or taking the show on the road it’s time to SHOW UP and CHEER ON OUR BOYS! 📣🏈

🏈🔥 WELCOME TO THE 2026 CHEROKEE WARRIORS KICKOFF CLASSIC! 🔥🏈

We’re excited to welcome our Cherokee, Etowah, River Ridge, and Creekview families to Cherokee High School for a great day of K–5 football!

Tomorrow is all about our young athletes competing, having fun, building friendships, and kicking off the season the right way. We appreciate every player, coach, parent, volunteer, and supporter who helps make days like this possible.

Please take a few minutes to review the field map, parking areas, emand Field 2 guidelines before arriving. Pre-purchasing your tickets through GoFan will also help make entry quicker and easier.

🏈 Warriors Families,

Mili here, your Communications Director!

Equipment handout is tomorrow Thursday, June 30th for ALL grade levels!

Please do your best to arrive during your assigned time slot. Sticking to your scheduled time will help us keep the lines moving and make the process as smooth as possible for everyone.

We also ask for a little patience and grace. This is the first year our team has coordinated equipment handout, and we’re excited to make it a great experience. We’ll be working as quickly and efficiently as possible to get everyone checked in, fitted, and on their way.

A few important notes:
🏈 A $300 check or cash deposit is required when equipment is picked up. Your check will not be cashed (or your cash will be returned) as long as all equipment is returned at the end of the season.
🏈 If you’ve already received your shoulder pads or are using your own equipment please bring them to practice.
🦷 Don’t forget your mouthguard!

Calling all future Cherokee Warriors cheerleaders! We’re so excited to kick off another amazing season of sideline cheer filled with spirit, friendships, and Warrior pride! ❤️🖤🤍

✨ Practices Begin: Tuesday, July 28
📍 Cherokee High School

📅 Practice Schedule:
📣 K–2nd Grade: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:00–7:00 PM
📣 3rd–5th Grade: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:00–7:30 PM

⭐ Choreography Weekend:
🗓 August 1 & 2
⏰ 4:00–7:00 PM
📍 Showtime Elite

👕 Practice Attire:
🖤 Saturday: All Black
🤍 Sunday: Warriors practice shirt & black shorts

After Fall Break, practices will be reduced to one night per week!

This is it, Warriors! ❤️🖤🤍 Tomorrow is our FINAL Cheer Uniform Fitting before the season kicks off!

Please make every effort to attend so your cheerleader can be properly fitted and ready for an amazing season ahead!

Reminder, Warrior families! Tomorrow, June 10, is the final equipment fitting date before the season gets underway.

If your athlete has not yet been fitted for equipment, please make every effort to attend. We need all players properly fitted for helmets, shoulder pads, jerseys, and game pants to ensure they’re ready for the season.
