Tomorrow, April 1st is the 15th day of our 5 in 15 Campaign. We still have $3,550 left to raise, and that's no joke!

Over the past two weeks, so many people in our community have stepped in to help Cherokee County kids get to Young Life camp this summer. Because of that generosity, we are incredibly close to our goal.
Every dollar raised means kids get the chance to experience; a week of unforgettable fun, leaders who care deeply about them, real friendships, and a place to hear about the love of Jesus. Camp has a way of creating moments that kids carry with them for the rest of their lives. Today we’re asking for one final push to get us across the finish line. "The first time I went to summer camp was the summer after my freshman year. It ended up being one of the best weeks of my life because of how fun and exciting it was. While we were there, my leader, the camp speaker, and the spiritual atmosphere all positively impacted my faith in a way that little else in my life has. God used Young Life Camp to encourage my faith in Jesus at a time when I needed it most."

People often ask us the same question:
“What makes Young Life camp so special?”
The truth is, it’s not just one thing! It’s a full week where high school kids get to step away from the pressures of school, sports, social media, and expectations. They find themselves in a place filled with laughter, adventure, and genuine connection. They get to ask deeper questions about life, faith, purpose, and who they are. For many kids, camp becomes the first place where they feel truly known. It’s also where many kids begin a relationship with Jesus that changes the direction of their lives.

Today begins our 5 in 15 campaign! What does that mean? Over the next 15 days we’re trying to raise $5,000 to help kids from Cherokee County go to Young Life camp at Windy Gap this summer. “The best week of your life!” That’s the sentence you will hear Young Life leaders say, when describing summer camp, to their high school friends. It’s no cliche. For many kids, summer camp is where everything changes. It’s where they unplug from the noise, build real friendships, and hear about a God who knows them and loves them. In Cherokee County, we want every kid to get a chance at that experience. Our goal over the next 15 days is to raise $5,000. That money will help offset costs for kids to go to summer camp at Windy Gap, eliminating barriers that might be standing in the way. Would you consider giving today?
