Caroline is one of our youngest members. We are happy to have her and look for great things.

Golf taught Caroline Goddard to stay calm, work hard, and keep moving after a difficult shot. ⛳

Now, she brings those lessons into every real estate transaction. 🫶

The Cherokee County native started playing golf at age 5, competed at Cherokee High School and Reinhardt University, and developed the composure that now helps her guide clients with confidence. 🤝

At only 22, Caroline is building a career grounded in discipline, local knowledge, and genuine relationships. 💙

It was a hot evening to work outside, but we had a great volunteer showing to help clean our flag inventory and replace worn flags so they are presentable for our Labor Day presentation on the several neighborhoods that we have subscribers. Thanks to all that support our efforts knowing the proceeds go to help our children’s programs in Canton, GA.

Friday we had an insightful morning presentation from Tyler Wilkes with First Priority of North Central Georgia. We learned how we can help out his ministry, working to reach students for Christ, through Student-Led Campus Clubs partnering with Local Churches. Keep it up Tyler!

We paid great respect in honoring excellent work with officers from our Cherokee Marshal's office along with the Cherokee County School Police Department this past week at our Optimist weekly breakfast.We recognized Officer Michael Garcia with the Marshal's office and Beth Buffkin with the School Police and thanked them for their excellent service and a nice token of appreciation to hang on their office wall. Thank you again for your extra efforts to make our community a safer and more desirable place to live!

Children's Hospital of Atlanta has an energetic community liaison, Laurie Cole, that addressed our Canton Optimist Club on Friday the 10th to let us know how we can help out with children's health within our neighborhood. She reminded us of our Children's Urgent Care right here off Exit 20 on Riverstone that has great capabilities. Thanks Laurie for your dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to keep our children healthy!

We had great celebration of Law Enforcement day at our Optimist Breakfast this morning with Tony Baker giving us a quick overview of our community. Then we recognized Quartermaster Elbert Davis from the Cherokee Sherriff's office for his great work since 2018. Also recognized was Luke Pulliam from Canton Police Department for his great contributions to our city. Thanks to ALL our Law Service Personnel throughout the county for their trustworthy daily actions in keeping us safe and secure.

A group of five dedicated Optimists today participated in Keep Cherokee Beautiful by cleaning our mile-and-a-half stretch. Although our team typically consists of a dozen or more members, we undertake this activity quarterly. We really enjoyed Phillip Price addressing our breakfast group this morning and telling us a few stories from his series of novels. What a great story teller, and they’re all based on things that really happened in his law enforcement career. He has a series of books for sale with another currently in production. Thanks for sharing with us this morning Phil!

We are grateful to the North Metro Marching Eagles for helping out and participating with this past Christmas parade. We learned more about their processes and obligations this morning and helped out this organization with a small contribution. Thanks again Marching Eagles!
