Tonight was a different night. We witnessed heartbreaking situations—prostitution, identity struggles, hopelessness, isolation, deception, and a friend sobbing! 😭
Yet God was moving. We rejoiced as one friend asked for help with rehab, reconnected with a longtime friend, Miss B shared a testimony and word of encouragement, gave out two Bibles, prayed with someone who asked for a hug and prayer, and saw team members step into their gifts.
Please keep Harrisburg and our team in prayer. We encountered a different spiritual atmosphere tonight and need wisdom, discernment, and direction as we move forward. Thank you for standing with us in prayer. 🙏❤️

Williamsport Crew 💪💪💪
What a blessing tonight was!!! We were able to give out supplies, hygiene, snacks and water to friends tonight. We met up with one man we saw only one time last year and he immediately remembered us as the people that pray 🙏
We met a woman that had too tight of shoes and her feet were sore and needed bandages. We called a team member and they immediately went to the store and purchased her first aid, new socks and new sneakers that are the correct size. We were able to get her bandaged and prayed with her. Please keep our friend "B" in prayer tomorrow as she has appointments at the hospital for her gallbladder.
Jesus is good, and He so loves us all!

Today was a good day in Elmira! Tonight we served Italian Sausages, Loaded Baked Potato Salad, Salad, and Butternut squash sheet cake. We served around 30 people. The team was awesome and only had to give one time out..😂 We were able to have Bible Study and minister to several. We handed out four bibles and prayed joining hands together as one.

As it is written, 'For I was hungry, and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.' 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' This passage from Matthew 25:35-36, 40, came alive today as we distributed cold water bottles in Philadelphia. 💦 Witnessing the joy that a simple act could bring was remarkable. Many individuals expressed their desire to overcome addiction, and several accepted Jesus into their hearts. ❤️ Miracles occurred after prayers, freeing them from the grip of addiction. We saw firsthand the power of God triumph over darkness. 🙏🏻 Please pray for Philadelphia. It was uplifting to hear many express their readiness to break free from addiction. We were also encouraged to meet other teams sharing the same purpose. 😊
On a side note, the question is still out there: does Geno's or Pat's make the best Philly cheesesteak sub?🥪

Today the Williamsport Team visited Sojourner Truth Ministries and we were able to provide approximately 80 hot meals to new friends.
Looking over the room we could see the team being what 22.9 Ministries stands for. At any time, you would see our team praying with others, serving meals and desserts, helping little children with stickers, laughing and telling jokes. But most of all, you would see the love of Jesus.
Today we encountered people thankful for a warm meal because, they had eaten only eggs all week. Others that are battling cancer and believing Jesus to heal them.
Some that are unable to eat gluten or dairy but do because they are hungry, and then deal with sickness for days after.
Today, we encountered God's children and we were able to give them His love, just as he would.

Go. Invite everyone. The servants brought them in, good and bad alike, and the banquet hall was full.

Tonight we focused on Luke 12:11-12 which is about following God’s direction 👣 stepping out of the box 📦 being bold for Jesus and letting the truth speak 🗣️ louder than anything we can say to defend ourselves. 
One gave his heart to Jesus❤️👏 many received prayer 🙏🏻 and were grateful for the love and peace that followed. Two were delivered and let go of unforgiveness.
As we prepared to leave fighting broke out 🥊 due to a stealing incident. Please be praying for our friends, they have been in a place of anger. 🙏🏻

1 John 4:19 says - We love eachother because He loved us first. That means showing up in a thunderstorm, giving supplies and prayer to those in need.
That is exactly what we did in Williamsport lastnight.

We met a couple that had been in the woods for 4 nights, two of which they had no tent. We were able to pray with them, give them snacks, hygiene and best of all, prayer and love.

The 22.9 Elmira Team served a dinner of hamburgers, homemade mac and cheese, with chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Our friends enjoyed the meal, conversations, and Bible study. We were also able to minister to some friends outside. We handed out two Bibles tonight. Our team were blessed to have Mike and Dianne with us tonight. Thank you for what you have taught us all. The 22.9 team does what it does best: sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

Tonight was a milestone as we embarked on our first Harrisburg trip with our new vehicle, accompanied by new team members. Stop one: we were pleased to reconnect with friends we hadn't seen in a while, including John, Ashley, Kat, and Larry. The evening featured theological discussions, and prayer was instrumental in uplifting the spirits of many. Stop two: we were grateful to see all our friends and encouraged to learn that Larry has found a church and is growing with Jesus! Prayer was well-received by most, and our team successfully fixed several tents tonight. Please pray for a dear friend who recently lost two of her children. Thank you for praying for our friends and team. 🚌 👏
