❤️ 🦁

This meme’s a roar that speaks so true, Tigger lions bounce and cheer on cue! While Eeyore slumps can dim the pride, A bouncy lion flips that tide.

So when you spot a fellow lion low, Tail-down slump and spirits slow— Leap right over, hug them tight, Give a gentle tug toward the light.
Then join the run, that Tigger-trot, Roaring laughter, that’s the lot!

If fun’s not flowing through the pride… We’re doing lion-life all wrong, my friend—let’s ride!

🏁 Service looks like this. 🏁

When you see these riders on the track at Canaan Lions MX, you’re looking at more than motocross. You’re looking at one of the ways the Canaan Lions Club serves our community.

For more than 35 years, Canaan Lions MX on Ball Park Road has been a family-friendly track where kids, parents, and lifelong racers come together. Practice days, race Sundays, flagging, timing, concessions, and a whole lot of volunteer hours — it all adds up to a hometown track that riders love and a fundraiser that keeps our club’s service going.

100% of the profits from Canaan Lions MX support the Canaan Lions Club community. That means the gates, memberships, and race days help fund the work we do in Canaan, Dorchester, Grafton, and Orange — from the Health Closet to youth programs, community events, and Lions sight and hearing service.

To every rider, family, volunteer, and neighbor who shows up: thank you. You make the track safer, louder, and more fun — and you help us live our motto: We Serve.

Proud of our track. Proud of our riders. Proud to be Lions.

🏆 Lions Pride at Canaan MX! 🏆

Please join the Canaan Lions Club in congratulating Lion Mike Petraska and Canaan Lion MX volunteer Delinda Dupree on receiving the Granite State Fellowship Award this past Sunday at the MX riders meeting!

The Granite State Fellowship is the highest honor conferred by the Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation of New Hampshire. It recognizes outstanding service to Lionism and our communities, and each presentation also supports the Foundation’s endowment — helping provide hearing aids, eye care, and cataract surgery for Granite Staters in need.

Mike and Delinda, thank you for everything you do at the Canaan Lions MX track. Your dedication keeps our family-friendly track running strong, brings riders and neighbors together, and puts We Serve into action every race weekend. Canaan Lions MX has been a labor of love for decades, and people like you are why it continues to thrive.

We are proud to call you part of the Canaan Lions family. Congratulations — well earned!

Our first practice of the season is Saturday, April 25th. Sorry, no Friday or Saturday camping for this practice. Things to note: we have a pre-novice 50-65cc practice. Non-race bike riders are asked not to practice with the 50-65 race bikes. They may practice with the pre-novice as long as it's safe for everyone on the track. Ladies will have their own practice class; we ask that you only run in your class. If you'd rather run in A/B, choose one. This is to keep all class sizes manageable. 85CC will get their own class if C class is too big. Our goal is to give everyone plenty of track time while keeping numbers at a safe level for everyone. Non-race bikes and Stacyc are on the cut track. Pre-novice classes have their own class for everyone’s safety and it helps us and the riders determine if pre-novice is where they belong. If we don’t have enough riders in a certain pre-novice class, we have volunteers who can ride behind a pre-novice rider in a non pre-novice class.

On Sunday, April 26th, we will have a track clean-up day (no riding). We'd love help with rock clearing (10-20 feet off the racing surface), starting gate prep, and other odds and ends. Again, no overnight camping Friday or Saturday. We can't wait to see everyone
