United Way of Kershaw County is a local organization working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life—a quality education that leads to a good job, enough income to support a family through retirement and good health. Our goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of these problems in Kershaw County. United Way brings together the community to develop and implement proven strategies, pulling together financial and human resources, and measure the results. Living United means being a part of the change. It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future.

Tomorrow is the 16th Annual UWKC Chili Cook Off at Town Green, 11 - 2. Start your Halloween Day off right with fantastic music, kid's zone, Halloween costume contest (12 and under), hotdogs for sale, and of course, CHILI!!! All proceeds benefit the Mobile Nutrition Center.
