Checking in on Murphy after 18 months.

Mom says:

Murphy is such a doll and a goofball. At almost 3 yrs old, we’re wondering when he will grow out of the toddler phase? I suspect, never. Haha. He took excellent care of me when I was recovering from an ankle surgery this past Spring. He’s an exceptional big brother to his 3 cat siblings. And more than anything else, he loves our two nephews. He got to spend a week at “Cousin Camp” in Columbus this summer and loved every minute of it!

It sounds like Murphy and Mom are both lucky to have each other 🥰

💜💜10/16 update on Nami - Cortisol level came back low so we will be scheduling an ACTH stimulation test to check for Addison's disease

📣Good News so far!🙏

We are still awaiting final results and will share when we receive them, but so far Nami's 💜results from her vet appointment show that her urinalysis, f***l, and heartworm test are all NEGATIVE!

Our vet has requested an add on to check her cortisol level, and depending on the results we may need to run additional tests.

Baby steps...but so far so good!👏🏻

Sweet Koko is continuing to love life. Mom says:It’s hard to believe Koko has been part of our family for 18 months. She is definitely a talker now and has conversations with us all the time. She loves her tennis balls and running laps around the yard to the point of exhaustion.

She even watches TV with us now. We love her so much and she’s definitely spoiled!

One very lucky dog💞

💜🐾 A LITTLE HELP FOR OUR SWEET NAMI — TWO SIMPLE WISHES! 🐾💜

Our precious Nami continues to settle into life at Sanctuary Acres Boxer Rescue, and we’re doing everything possible to keep her comfortable, well-fed, and surrounded by love. 💕

Thank you to those that have donated🙏 We haven't had a chance to post a thank you yet with pictures of everything but we will soon! We've included a picture of Nami in one of her new outfits🥰

As many of you know, Nami has some medical challenges, and we’re working hard to give her little body the nutrition and care it so desperately needs. We are still awaiting results from her vet visit, but will share them as soon as they arrive.

Today, we’re reaching out to our wonderful SABR family for help with TWO everyday essentials: diapers and canned dog food! 💜

🐾 DIAPERS FOR NAMI

We’ve been using diapers from our rescue supplies, but we’re now running low!

Nami doesn’t need them around the clock, but when she does, they make such a difference in keeping her clean, comfortable, and protecting her healing skin.

And here’s something we’ve learned! 😉 Regular children’s disposable diapers work much better for Nami than traditional doggy diapers. When our little girl has one of those stinky accidents, children’s diapers do a much better job of keeping everything contained! 💩

🐾 CANNED FOOD FOR OUR LITTLE GIRL

Some of you may remember our precious Luna, who spent her final months surrounded by love and receiving hospice care.

During that time, we used up our supply of canned dog food caring for her. And now, another precious little soul needs that same nourishment. 💔💜

Nami needs multiple small meals throughout the day as we work to improve her nutritional condition and help her gain much-needed weight.

Something as simple as a can of food means so much to a little girl whose body has been through so much.
