Hay Hay!

Let's all take a moment to celebrate our wins as our Equestrian Team harnesses success once again!

Both our teams did not come home empty handed after a long weekend of testing and judging and naming so many things.

Our intermediate team (Hannah & Gabby) took home 2nd overall team and Hannah won 1st place overall intermediate individual! Gabby scored high in her judging too! Both girls did a great job and the seniors should be keeping an eye out on their future competition.

Our seniors completed in both Hippology and Horse judging.

For hippology we took home:

Individual written test: 5th (Natalie), 4th (Ainsley), & 1st (Sienna)
Individual stations: 4th Natalie & 1st (Sienna)
1st place overall team for test, stations, AND team problems
2nd overall individual Senior Sienna
And second place overall Team!

For Horse Judging:
Overall individuals: 2nd (Beatrice), 6th (Ainsley), 8th (Natalie), 9th (Sienna)
2nd overall team!
Beatrice placed individually 1st for halter judging and reasons with 4th for performance, Sienna placed 3rd for halter and reasons, Ainsley took 3rd for performance and 5th for reasons, Natalie scored 8th performance and 9th for reasons and 7th for halter!

This means we have ONCE again qualified for regionals and nationals!

Fabulous job girls!

Also, a special shout out and thank you for all the incredible support from the moms and to our members for all the peer to peer coaching.

We have such an incredible group of youth and I am beyond blessed and proud to work with each and every one.

How often do you pause and truly think about the amazing people in your life who step up and make your dreams come true? Hopefully you all do, but if you don't....do it now in thinking about how Mrs. Nancy has been such a lifeblood of this program for YEARS! She has fund-raised, taught, coordinated travel, made shirts, hosted camps, been a constant smile and support for every member...and just about everything in between. Mrs. Nancy isn't a "horse lady" naturally but has fully embraced this world for the sake of her children, her county, and other horse crazy kiddos. We LOVE you Mrs. Nancy and are so blessed to have you not just as a co-leader for Hoofbeats but as a shining north star for us. 💚🍀

We had so much fun yesterday at the wonderful Retirement Home for Horses! There's no better place to practice for the hippology contest as this peaceful facility houses over 140 residents of all breeds, colors, BCS, and personalities. Thank you again to RHH for hosting our annual refresher tour.

"Let's Go, Girls!"
Congratulations to our club members who successfully competed at the State Fair 4-H Horse Judging contest! Top 5 placing individuals included Beatrice for 1st place and Hannah for 5th, making our overall team placing as FIRST! Ainsley was also 12th overall individual with Sienna earning 17th. Way to go girls!
