We had a great session despite the light showers after the storms today. Made it through all of the colonies checking food, queen status, and equalized a few assets. We currently have 5 strong hives and 5 active Nucs.

🐝 A HUGE Thank You to Our Volunteers! 🐝

We want to send a big THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered with the Nassau County Beekeepers Association at yesterday’s Talbot Tidewater Celebration!

👏 Barbara, Bernadette, Cheryl, Cynthia, Daniel, Don, Gordon, Gretchen, Jannette, Lorina, Miguel, Mike H., Myron, and Ron

Thanks to this amazing crew, we had a fantastic day sharing our love of bees, talking with visitors, and representing NCBA in our community.

🍯 And we SOLD OUT of honey! That’s a pretty sweet way to end the day!

We truly couldn’t participate in events like this without members willing to give their time and help make them successful.

🎟️ And there are LOTS of Golden Nuc tickets getting passed out at Monday night’s meeting!

Thank you again to everyone who showed up, pitched in, and helped make the Tidewater Celebration such a great day for NCBA! 💛🐝
