🐝 Bee Removal Needed – Woodbine, GA Area 🐝

We have someone in the Woodbine, Georgia area looking for assistance with removing a colony of honey bees.

If you are a beekeeper who performs live bee removals or know someone who does, please reach out. We’d love to help connect them with a local beekeeper who can safely relocate the bees.

We’ve had a few people asking about our monthly Buzz and Brews.

As much as we enjoy getting together for our Buzz & Brews, summer is one of the busiest times of the year for beekeepers! Between hive inspections, honey harvesting, swarm management, and keeping our colonies healthy through the Florida heat, our members have plenty to keep them buzzing.

For that reason, we’ll be taking a short break from our monthly Buzz & Brews gatherings during the summer months.

Don’t worry—we’ll be back in August and look forward to catching up with everyone then!

🐝 Member Assistance Request – Bee Venom Therapy 🐝

I received a request from a family in St. Marys, Georgia, and I’m reaching out to see if any of our members may be able to help.

Katie is battling severe neurological Lyme disease and is currently wheelchair-bound with neuropathy. Her family has been utilizing bee venom therapy, which they feel has been helping improve some of her symptoms. They have a beekeeper friend who has been supplying bees, but availability has become inconsistent.

They are looking for someone who may be willing to provide or sell a small number of bees on a regular basis (weekly or every other week). Katie is currently receiving approximately 10 stings, three times per week.

If you are located in or near the St. Marys/Kingsland area and might be willing to help, please send me a private message. I can put you directly in contact with the family so you can discuss details and determine if it’s something you’re comfortable supporting.
