Community Cats Charity

Community Cats Charity We teach you about resources that are available to the public to help make the process cost effective.

The Community Cats Charity’s purpose is to help feral, abandoned, and stray cats by shining a light on their plight for survival and teaching solutions that will improve the relationship between communities and the cats that call those communities home. Our specific objectives include:

•Public Education: We educate why there are so many community cats and how everyone can learn to improve the re

lationship between communities and the cats.

•Spay & Neuter: We loan high quality, humane cat traps at no final cost to you and mentor you through the method of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). This prevents kittens from being born in situations that often include exposure, malnutrition and disease.

•Provide Food: We collect cat food donations that help feed local community cats in need.

So excited TChalla is back home! This indoor only pet cat was missing for days. His owners walked the neighborhood for many hours with no luck. We loaned them a trap and caught him quickly as they often don't go far away. Kitty was probably so frightened he was too afraid to come out of hiding even when he heard his owner calling.

We want to shout out to Mike and Tae. Last season a male and pregnant female cat took up residence in their Moorpark backyard and soon presented 4 kittens. They got the parents and one kitten TNRed right away. Two kittens disappeared 😢 and the fourth was too elusive. This season, #4 came around looking possibly pregnant! With improved TNR skill from Mike and Tae they trapped #4 and got her spayed before another litter appeared. Kitten #4 (now a cat) is happily back home in their yard with her mama cat. Good job!! Thank you Mike and Tae for caring about this little cat family, keeping them safe, fed and fixed!!

Spay & Neuter: A Simple Step with Big Impact!
Spaying and neutering not only prevent unwanted litters but also help reduce the number of homeless pets in shelters. These procedures improve your pet’s health—lowering the risk of certain cancers and reducing unwanted behaviors like roaming and marking.
By choosing to spay or neuter, you’re helping your pet live a longer, healthier life and creating a safer, more compassionate community for all animals. ❤️🐾
Please call for an appointment to the number on the flyer. The mobile clinic comes to our parking lot once a month.

If a community cat has an ear tip that shows this cat is already fixed so leave it alone.
