Student loans help achieve educational goals without which many jobs would simply be unattainable. As such, these loans are essential to said job, and therefore should be classified as a business expense. Creating tax deductibility for these valuable student loans increases the likelihood of quick repayment--rather than continued deferment, forbearance or default. This decreases our national debt, and increases the pool for loans to other students who are trying to raise their levels of education to meet the demands of current professional marketability.

We have a student debt crisis that is growing every day. As a nation we now have 1.2 trillion dollars in student loan debt which is the second only to home loans for highest person debt. 1/3 of those student loans are currently in deferment, forbearance or default.
