Beads of Courage, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and teens coping with serious illness. These children face daily challenges with strength and courage but they need something to hold onto on tough treatment days that reminds them how far they’ve come and encourage them to keep on going.

The program uses colorful beads to as a meaningful symbols of courage to commemorate milestone during treatment.

Thank you Joyce and Lois for all your hard work and long hours sewing these bags for the children at CHOC.

Every year Dr Gary Chavez donates CHOCO bears to all the children at CHOC. This is to honor his late wife Dr Anna.
SWG is proud to wrap them and deliver them to the nurses who will distribute them to every single patient. Even the tiniest ones.

Guild Con is always a special evening. Not only do we get together with each other but also with the other guilds. We eat, we drink, we learn. This year we heard about the CHOC Wellness rooms on school campuses. These rooms provide students with a calming environment while being supervised by trained staff.
In addition to this each guild talks about what they are doing for CHOC in the upcoming year. Lots of exciting and fun events.
