PPDC Press Commissioner Larry Pelayo mentioned that "with the growing interest and consciousness of the later generation of Kapampangans in America, we hope to make the activities of the Pampanga Day Celebratiion as contributions to the tourism industry in Pampanga, which will ultimately encourage capital investment by Kapampangan professionals from the United States."

Pampanga Day Celebration Commissioner Mike Cucueco, who attended a fund-raiser of the ABS-CBN Foundation at La Canada-Flintridge last night, announced that this year, Pampanga Day will be celebrated on December 3 at the LAX Hilton Hotel. The one-day festivities will feature cultural presentations and a smorgasbord of Pampanga delicacies, which are expected to please both young and old fair-goers, according Administration Commissioner Baby Borja-Phillips.
