The North Caldwell Recreation Foundation will be holding a special meeting on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 7pm at Borough Hall to solicit public feedback and input on the potential application for a Jake's Law Playground Funding Grand to fund improvements to the playground at Liberty Park. We are also soliciting feedback through a survey that is available here: https://forms.gle/hEzLDVcm4o93EQmEA. We encourage all interested residents to fill out the survey and/or attend the meeting and provide their input.

North Caldwell Boy Scout Troop 1 will be hosting visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus on November 23, 2024. Please consider supporting the Troop's annual fundraiser.

Matthew Filosa, a 12-year old North Caldwell resident, will be collecting used sports equipment at this Saturday's Run for North Caldwell to donate to Leveling the Playing Field. LPF is a non-profit organization that collects used sports equipment and re-distributes it to recreation programs in under-resourced communities to expand access and equity within youth sports. If you have any new or lightly used sports equipment that you no longer need, please consider donating it to Leveling the Playing Field. So clean out your garages and clear the yard of used sporting equipment so that kids who are less fortunate are able to enjoy them! Matthew will have a table in the registration area throughout the Run4NC, so bring any equipment to him there.

The West Essex Fighting Fish, the recreation swim team for the West Essex towns, will be hosting a fundraiser at Boza Creamery this weekend, June 29 & 30, from 4pm to 10pm. A portion of all proceeds will go to the WE Fighting Fish to cover expenses and equipment for the team. Please show your support for our young swimmers!!

You may have seen these signs up around town, but the 2023 Run4NC is September 9, 2023. The deadline to register and guarantee your 5K and/or Color Run shirts is this Sunday, August 20th. Register now to guarantee your shirt: www.run4nc.com.

Registration is now open for the 2023 Run for North Caldwell. The event will be held on September 9, 2023. The 5K will start at 8AM and the Color Mile will begin at 9:30AM. Register by August 20 to guarantee an event shirt.

Thank you to everyone that has contributed to support the Firemen's Field renovation project. The project is coming along nicely and we anticipate a formal opening and dedication on April 22, 2023 as part of the Opening Day ceremonies for the Rec Baseball & Softball season. Thank you to everyone that joined us for the Run4NC 5K and Color Run. We had nearly 700 participants between the two events. We had perfect weather and everyone had a great time supporting the Rec Foundation and raising money for North Caldwell. And thank you to Dennis Quinn for taking pictures of today's events.

Monday (8/21) is the deadline to register for the 2022 Run4NC 5K and Color Run to guarantee that you will receive an event shirt. The Run4NC will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, with the 5k starting at 8:00am and the Color Run at 9:30am. Please join us for what is always a great day for the community.
