It is American Quilter's Society Quilt Week in Paducah. Check out our very own Mary Wolz’s quilt in the competition. Mary is a Caldwell girl who is one of our very long time members. She does beautiful work and has been winning ribbons like a pro. Congratulations Mary, we are so glad to call you a member and a friend.

Meeting on Wednesday was well attended. We presented our lap quilts to Hospice Brazos Valley (first picture). We have more exciting programs and quilt show planned for September. Today we created a By Annie project. Here are pictures from our Sew and Show.

If you've been to the before, you know that each year brings a special theme! 🎉 These themes give quilters a chance to stretch their skills and let everyone see the many creative ways artists interpret the same challenge.

Past favorites have included “Show Us Your Curves” and Lone Star Quilts ⭐—and it was incredible to see so many unique interpretations displayed together!

💫 This year’s theme: GROUP PROJECTS! 💫

You can enter your quilt as a group project with very few limitations—just gather at least 4 quilters and start creating! 🧵💖

🪡 Grab your quilty crew and make something amazing together!
✨ Bold patterns, bright colors, modern or traditional…
🪡 Stitch memories and friendship into every square

Winding down the year before our Christmas party next month. We are excited to welcome two new members. We share here our sew and show items as well as our month’s program, Book Folding. It was the perfect project to complete in a couple of hours. Thanks to Annie and Judy F for the program.
