Join us for a powerful and inspiring training hosted by New Jersey Art Therapy Association (NJATA): “Vision Board Training for Art Therapists” on January 6, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM (link provided upon registration).
🎨 What you’ll gain:
• Learn how to guide your clients in creating a vision board-a visual, integrative tool that helps them clarify their treatment goals, identify meaningful pathways, and stay motivated along the journey.
• Discover how vision-boarding can shift abstract ideas (e.g., “I want to feel more confident,” “I want healthier relationships,” “I want creative growth”) into concrete images, words, and actions that become part of the therapeutic process.
• Walk away with a clear framework to embed vision board work into your sessions-helping clients to determine, track, and reflect on their goals in an engaging, visual-art way.
📚 This is a 2-hour CEU event (yes, you’ll earn your continuing education credits while doing something hands-on and creative!).
🧩 Important note: While the main training covers the core concept and your facilitation toolkit, participants will likely need additional time outside of the live session to complete their own personal vision boards (and to prep for how you’ll integrate them with your clients). Consider scheduling extra time for yourself to reflect, select imagery, build your board, and map it back to client needs.
✨ To support that deeper work, your event facilitators Alissa Paulison & Joanna Flora will host an open studio session on January 8 from 7:00-9:00 PM. This is a casual, supportive space where you can create, ask questions, share your vision board with peers, and get feedback-so you finish with something you feel proud to bring into your practice.
