I’ve waited on this one. One of our own is in treatments now for cancer that Metastasized to a lung. Guys he’s a warrior. Maybe the strongest warrior I’ve ever met. Let’s lift our friend Chris, his family and Drs up this morning. Let’s ask God for strength for Chris. Let’s ask God for patience and a sense of calm for him and his family. I know healing is coming! I also know Jesus has his hands all over Chris and his family. Prayers are in route Chris.

Asking for prayers for a friend this morning. He’s having surgery for cancer on a kidney. The Dr feels sure that it will be a successful surgery. Let’s ask God to use this surgeon to help cure my friend. Let’s ask Jesus to have his hands all over this man and his family.

Guys I need you. A new friend Jerry, is fighting pancreatic cancer. He’s on a new approved drug that’s absolutely wrecking him. I myself understand this. Most cancer patients understand this. Sometimes the treatment to make you well wrecks your body while doing its job. I ask that you lift him up. I know that Jesus has his hands all over him! Let’s lift him up for strength, for a sense of calm, for him to get good rest. Our bodies heal when we rest. Let’s let him feel the love and healing power of Christ as the treatment continues. Let’s lift his family up. Let’s ask God to remove all fear and give the family the same sense of calm that he gives Jerry. Jesus loves each of you my friends.

Hey guys I’ve got another request for prayer. My friend in Mississippi had a reaction to treatment yesterday. It scared her my friends. I’ve been talking with her for months. All she wants is to be healed so she can spend time with her kids and family. Guys she even lifts me up from time to time. Let’s lift her and her family up to our father now for strength and healing. Let’s pray for comfort and give her a sense of calm to get past yesterday. I know healing is coming for her. Bless her and her family. I know Jesus has his hands all over Mandy and her family.

Guys it’s been pretty quiet on here for a couple months. Which is a good thing. Cancer has not stopped affecting people. We’re still in contact almost daily with people all over the country. Last week I got a call from a friend from many years. His words were “man Mike I have cancer on my kidney.” Broke my heart! He’s got a great attitude and already has surgery scheduled to remove the tumor or possibly his kidney. With God he will get past this!!! So pray with me for him and his journey.
I talked with a young lady in Hawaii over the weekend. She’s doing really good and has went back to work!!!! That’s amazing!!! Our God is helping people daily.
I visited with my friend from Omaha over the weekend and she’s doing well. Her new job has challenges and obstacles and the process of learning a new career. I believe she’ll be just fine. Another example of our God getting right in the middle of the healing process. All great news.
Now I’d like to ask for prayer for one of our very own with The Bump. He’s a warrior and has one of the most positive outlooks and attitudes of any of us. I want him on my side. Chris Ketterman is one of us! He’s a colorectal survivor!!! Guys this guy made contact with me over a year ago to offer to help people diagnosed with this horrible disease. He was just diagnosed with a tumor in his right lung. It was found very early and he’s still going through testing. He’s ready to fight again!!!! The tumor is tiny. His words were it’s the size of a sunflower seed. I know it’s weighing heavy on him so let’s lift him up. Gods already got his hands all over Chris. He’s a warrior and a survivor and he will jump in and fight for rights for cancer patients!!!! Let’s also congratulate him and his new wife!!! As of today!!! They did it!!! God bless them!!!!! Chris you know we’ve got you guys covered in prayer. We will win this battle. We’re being taught so we can have the knowledge to help others. Chris prayers for you and your new bride Danielle Ketterman!!!! Again congratulations to you both. Prayers coming my brother. Jesus has his hands all over your whole family. Chris we love ya brother.

Hi guys, pray with me for a friend and an inspiration to me. She’s been a warrior and a survivor for years. I talked with her through text last night. We need to pray for peace and a sense of calm. Hospice is fixing to take over in a few days. Let’s lift her up. I know Jesus has his hands all over my friend. We love you young lady. Your strength and warrior attitude have been an inspiration to me for a long time.

Guys we started The Bump right at a year ago to help people transition from the diagnosis of cancer. We’ve helped a lot of people over the Bump. Almost everyone we’ve helped is either in remission or is still being treated for the disease. We’ve met people from all over the world through text and phone calls. It’s working! We’re just showing the love and healing power of Jesus. That’s how we help. It’s been exciting to watch success stories. It’s also been heart breaking to me at times. The one thing I tell everyone I talk with is “ I can promise you that we’ll be healed, I just can’t promise if it will be here on earth of in heaven with our savior.” That one phrase brings peace. If you need us we’re here. Reach out to one of us. We can help. Take your time, choose a medical team and a plan and trust the team and plan. Pray and live your life to the fullest!! Each day is a gift. Live it like it’s your last. Love people. This is what we help with. Trust God and know Jesus has his hands all over you. This is Gods plan, not ours. Thank you for supporting us. You know I talk with people daily that have been diagnosed or know someone diagnosed with cancer. It’s hard for a person and family to deal with. If you’ve never been in this place it’s really hard to understand. Today I ask for help. Let’s pray for a day of peace and comfort for everyone dealing with this horrible disease. Just one day to just relax and enjoy life. If you know someone just give them a call and ask if they need anything. That call from a friend means the world to a cancer patient. They’ll probably refuse help but it will touch them. And again they might need help but are too proud to ask! I ask God everyday for all of us yo be healed. It’s coming! We will be healed! I can guarantee that we will be. Either here or with our savior. Love on a friend today.
