Recently, The CALL staff joined foster care advocates and leaders from across the globe at CAFO 2026 for a few days of learning, connection, worship, and renewal.
This yearโs theme, Less: Fewer Branches, Better Fruit, challenged attendees to consider the work of pruning and how to hold onto less so we can bear better fruit. Our staff learned from peers around the world, built new connections, exchanged ideas, and were challenged to think differently about the work before us.
But CAFO offered more than education and networking. There was also intentional time for prayer, corporate worship, and finding rest in the Lord. A reminder that fruitful ministry begins by remaining rooted in Him.
We were also proud to see several members of The CALL team lead breakout sessions, sharing what theyโve learned through their own work in church engagement and leading mission-focused teams.
Our staff returned to Arkansas encouraged and eager to put new insights into practice as we continue serving children and families impacted by foster care!
