We have good news! The monthly food boxes for residents who are 60 years or older are open to more residents again!! Our numbers were capped but the limit has just ended. If you would like a monthly box of nonperishable food and fresh produce please call us at (207) 579-0854 or come Monday, June 1 .We will be at the Buxton Town garage at 11:30 and you can drive through to pick
Up your food. Please tell your neighbors !

Select board, planning board, school board, and more! If you want to run for elected office in Buxton, you can pick up nomination papers now at the Town of Buxton office. Nomination papers due by April 10 with at least 25 signatures.

Did you know Buxton has its own lending library of medical equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers? There is also an assortment of personal products for older adults. You can access it via the town Transfer Station!

You can access the library on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday when the transfer station is open only. Please stop at the booth and ask to visit the medical equipment library which is in one of the large containers on the right side of the booth. Donations are accepted at these times too!

Please note: the Food Boxes on December 1 are only available for those already signed up with our USDA Food Box program. If you need food assistance and are not enrolled in our program, the Town of Buxton has a free food table (for all, regardless of age!) thanks to generous community donations!

We cannot promise ongoing availability of the monthly boxes but these nonperishable supplies are available now!
