That's what CASA advocates do: show up, listen, and make sure every child's voice is heard.

🚀 Do you know a young leader who should be on a regional stage?

The Midwest Regional CHASE Youth Advisory Council is looking for Montana youth ages 14–26 with an IEP or 504 plan who are passionate about disability rights and self-advocacy. This is a paid, fully virtual 6-month opportunity (May–October) to build leadership skills and shape the future of self-advocacy — with the potential for national-level engagement down the road.

If you know someone (or ARE someone!) who would be a great fit, nominations are open now and due June 1.

To nominate, just submit the youth's name, age, contact info, and a brief note on why they'd be a great fit at 👉 mtempowermentcenter.org/contact

The Hellier-Raymond Scholarship is offering approximately FOUR full-tuition scholarships for foster youth attending Montana State University's Gallatin College Workforce Programs in 2026-2027.

ELIGIBILITY: Foster youth or enrolled tribal members pursuing a Gallatin College degree/certificate with financial need.

Did you know there are over 130 children in foster care right here in Butte-Silverbow?

Each one of these kids is navigating the child welfare system—court hearings, placements, uncertainty about their future. They deserve someone who shows up consistently, listens to their concerns, and advocates for their best interests.

That's where CASA comes in. Our trained volunteers will serve as the voice for children in court, ensuring their needs don't get lost in an overwhelmed system.

We're building this program to meet a real need in our community.
