❤️‍🩹SEPTEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH❤️‍🩹

Marlow began his journey with Butte Spirit Homes as a volunteer. After dedicating several months to the program, he joined the team full-time as a Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidate. Since then, he has completed his required hours and is now fully licensed as an LAC.

Marlow continues to further his education as he works toward completing his mental health degree and becoming an LCPC. He has an incredible ability to connect with residents on a deeper level. Not only addressing addiction, but helping uncover the trauma underneath it and supporting residents as they begin to heal.

Marlow is an amazing part of our clinical team and Butte Spirit Homes as a whole. Thank you, Marlow, for everything you bring to our residents and our program. We are truly grateful to have you!

Lets light Butte in Purple in memory of those lost to overdose! This is Overdose Awareness month.

Residents are asked to place a purple light on their porches or in their homes in remembrance of Butte residents lost to overdose. ⤵️ Find a link to the story in the comments.

💜Our residents and staff came together with the community for International Overdose Awareness Day to fly purple kites in memory of the lives lost to overdose. Each kite in the sky was a reminder of someone loved, someone missed, and someone who mattered.

This day means so much because addiction has touched so many lives. We remember those we’ve lost, support those who are still struggling, and hold onto hope for every person still fighting for a better life.

Recovery is real, hope is alive, and no one should ever be forgotten. 💜

Butte Spirit Homes, residents and staff will be instrumental in turning Butte PURPLE in honor of those lost due to overdose. We will be flying the purple kites in memory of those lost.

AUGUST EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH...
JOEY FORWARD.... Let me tell you about our friend Joey. A former graduate of Butte Spirit, Joey was hired as a Rehabilitation Aide at the men's house. Joey has risen to much higher levels including becoming a licensed Peer Support provider and leads groups with both our men and women. He is currently in school, working towards his licence as an LAC. He has excelled in his job, will to jump in to most any new task. He heads our social media on Facebook, keeping all of you up to date on what's happening in our programs. We are super proud of him and excited to honor him and all that he has accomplished! Please give him a big acknowledgement when you see him!! 💙💙💙

Another graduation in the books at the Butte Spirit Women’s House! 💜

We got to celebrate an amazing woman who put in the work every single day to create a better life for herself. She stayed committed and became someone the other women could look up to. Her growth has been incredible to watch, and we’re so proud of everything she’s accomplished!!

Congratulations on this next chapter. Keep doing what you’re doing! We can’t wait to see where your recovery takes you! 🎓💜
