Laid Jane to rest under a line of crepe myrtles with 3 other special cats.

Jane Doe did not make it through the night. She was too far passed our expertise and funding. We had to try to at least find her family and did give her a loving heart with compassion her last days. She did not pass alone. Oscar and Ritchie was nearby.

Her paw was sticking out, I hope, in a gesture of thanks. Every cat we try to give it a chance. Some hope. Lots of love. Sometimes it is not enough.

May Freya and Baset welcome you home on the other side of that brilliant rainbow.

RIP Jane Doe 2026

Last night we moved her inside the cat room into a smaller kennel since she cant move much. Give her better, safer place to lay that is off the ground. She is definitely needing to be seen.

Feeling incredibly sorry for her in this condition. If there is a kind soul able to take her in? We have her in a portable sized kennel. Ready for easy transport.

If anyone is willing and able? Please text us at 512-227-0029. Hate to see her needlessly suffering.

Updating. Jane passed in the night =-(

Jane Doe this morning hadn't moved much at all last night. Nor did she eat. From what we can tell. Both legs do move with some pain. She has a swollen spot at the base of her tail. Have not seen her wag it. Seen her making biscuits and purring though.

Hope we can get her in soon. If anyone would be interested in taking her into a veterinarian before we can? There is a carrier ready next to her enclosure.

She sure could use and angel.

This sweet lady was brought to us today. Is anyone missing her? She is injured and will be needing medical care ASAP. If she is yours or look familiar? Please reach out to us.

She's not microchipped nor eartipped, but is extremely friendly. We would love to get her reunited and the medical care she needs.

Found near to the Burnet County Sheriff's Office building. Sadly they would not assist nor would the shelter. The finders was told that since she's injured they wouldn't take her in. Now its up to us to give her love, sanctuary, food, and somehow find the funds to give the humane care she needs.

Looks as if she drug herself to these wonderful people for help =-(

Busy day growing step by step. Jordan Strong volunteered his afternoon to help clear the trees limbs, and assemble the frame to our next outdoor enclosure. Next will be the foundation blocks, then wrapping it up in wire and place the furnishings and covers. Huge THANK YOU.
