We’re only a few days away from the Donald Fawcett Community Service Day and Fish Fry!

It’s ALL happening THIS Saturday, March 29th! How can you join?

1 - Come on down to the Burnet Community Center from 11am - 2pm for a Donald style Fish Fry with Ms. Bonnie’s famous coleslaw! Raffle tickets and fish fry tickets are on sale now! Grab yours early at First State Bank of Burnet or Vicinta Stafford- Burnet County Clerk Office!

2 - Volunteer to help build beds for the kids in our community without! Our friends with the Rotary Club of Burnet and Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be at Wallace Riddell Park on Saturday morning - if you’d like to join them, visit https://x.gldn.io/e/dyEnxfJi6Qb for more information or to sign up!

3 - Hill Country Smiles will be providing free of charge adult fillings and extractions at the S. H. Reed Building. Volunteers are welcome! Pre-screenings are required, please call Highland Lakes Crisis Network at 325-423-3662 for more information!

4 - Free vision screenings with our friends with the Burnet Lions Club at the Burnet Community Center!

New for 2025! We are SO excited to partner with our friends at Hill Country Smiles for the Donald Fawcett Community Service Day and Fish Fry!

Hill Country Smiles is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of FREE dental services to adults and children in our community who are in need.

On Saturday, March 29th they are providing FREE fillings and extractions - if you or someone you know would like to sign up to volunteer or to receive services, please call 325-423-3662 for pre-screening or more information!

The Donald Fawcett Community Service Day and Fish Fry is happening on Saturday, March 29th at the Burnet Community Center!

Join us in honoring Donald’s legacy by giving back to the community he loved so much! Whether it’s by volunteering with the Rotary Club of Burnet to help build beds, with Hill Country Smiles to help provide dental care to those in need, making a monetary contribution to help fund a yearly scholarship given in Donald’s name to a local youth seeking any form of higher education or, just simply joining us for the fish fry, featuring Ms. Bonnie’s famous coleslaw!
