♥️💙 8U FOOTBALL COACH SPOTLIGHT ♥️💙

Coach Mickey Parker will be coaching our 8U team this year! He is a former quarterback for Southern and Graham High Schools and has been coaching youth sports for 36 years.

Coach Parker is an old school, hard-nosed coach with a soft side. He enjoys teaching life lessons through sports to young people. Football is his favorite sport.

He is married to his beautiful wife, Lynn, and has one stepson, Chris. They have three cats and three dogs. He loves hotrods, Harley’s, hunting and fishing.

♥️💙CHEER COACH SPOTLIGHT ♥️💙

Hi everyone! We’re Aly and Becca, and we are so excited to be coaching the Alamance Civitan Patriots cheerleaders this season!

One thing that makes this opportunity extra special for us is that we both cheered when we were younger, so getting the chance to now coach and share that experience with the next generation is something we’re truly excited about.

While this is our first season coaching cheer, we have previously assisted in coaching youth softball and have found that one of our favorite things is helping kids learn, grow, and gain confidence. We love watching them discover what they’re capable of and seeing friendships and teamwork develop along the way.

Our coaching style is centered around positivity, encouragement, and fun. We want every girl to feel included, supported, and proud of herself. While we’ll be teaching cheers, chants, and routines, we also hope to help our cheerleaders build confidence, learn responsibility, develop teamwork skills, and create lasting memories.

A few fun facts about us:
✨ We can never leave Target with just one thing 😂
✨We both have pups who might make an appearance throughout the season! Becca has a mini dachshund and Aly has a beagle and a mini golden doodle!🐾
✨We both LOVE the Alani Energy Drinks!

We can’t wait to meet all of the girls and families and kick off an amazing season together. Thank you for trusting us with your cheerleaders—we’re looking forward to a season full of spirit, smiles, growth, and Patriot pride!

We are so incredibly proud of our regular season Alamance Civitan CHAMPIONS this season! They all put in the hard work and effort to make it here and we couldn’t be happier with how the season ended! Congrats everyone on an incredible performance!! Playoff games will be held next week. Be on the lookout for the details!
