University of Minnesota Master Gardeners - Wright County Welcome to the U of MN Master Gardeners-Wright County page! We are a FREE service to Wright County residents!

We have 50 volunteers in Wright County who have been trained to assist you in all of your horticultural needs. Currently there are more than 50 Wright County Master Gardeners who have attended training and are now actively responding to community horticulture needs.

Join the Wright County Master Gardeners at the Buffalo Farmers Market on Saturday, June 13th from 8 AM to 12 Noon at the Wright Technical Center. Not only will Master Gardeners be available to answer your yard and garden questions, but we will be featuring Monarch butterflies! Join us for "Let's Get Growing: The Petal Picnic" Kids Pollinator Garden Program on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11 am to 2 pm. Bring your kids to Dan & Jerry’s Monticello Garden Center for a fun, free, hands-on experience. Children will plant their very own pollinator garden pot, learn all about pollination and plants from our knowledgeable Wright County Master Gardeners, and take home both their planted pot and a special workbook. No registration is required — just come on out and watch your little ones get excited about gardening and helping our pollinators!
This family-friendly program is hosted by Dan & Jerry’s Greenhouses and the University of Minnesota Master Gardeners of Wright County while supplies last — hope to see you there!

Happy Spring!!

Join the Wright County Master Gardeners at the Buffalo Farmers Market on Saturday, May 9th from 8 am to 12 noon. Just a reminder that the market is at the Wright Technical Center for this season.

Master Gardeners will be available to answer your yard and garden questions. Kids are invited to pot a Zinnia for Mother's Day. We are also giving away Dwarf Hydrangea bare root shrubs. There is a limited supply available so one per family please. We hope to see you there!
