Going to end the evening with a post to hopefully help this guy since you all came through for Boomer (still working on apps).
He has a euthanasia date for next week and we are hoping to save his life - but need your help in order to do so!

This was the message we got today from the shelter:

“This guy is also scheduled for euthanasia on Tuesday if we do not get a rescue commitment for him. He is 2 years old. HW negative. He came in with this huge gash on his toe.”

We are waiting on his name but you can reference him as the dog with a toe gash for now when talking to our team!

The longest stay in the shelter and he now has a euthanasia date this week 😞

Here’s what the shelter says:

“This is Boomer. He is our longest resident. He has been here since March 😞 He is the sweetest boy, but he is shy when he first meets someone, and he is constantly getting overlooked. He is about a year old. HW negative. He is calm in his kennel. He just lays at the front watching people come and go. I've never even heard him whine - let alone bark.

He loves other dogs. He has probably been housed with 30+ dogs, and he gets along with literally everyone. He started losing fur about 2 months ago. We believe that it is stress related. We have been doing medicated baths, but he still is a little patchy.”

If you can help save Boomers life and sign up to foster him, we will be able to pull him from the southern shelter and bring to us in a couple weeks!

Please sign up asap as we need to process and also let the shelter know asap if we can avoid euthanasia!

Oh no!!

Our supply houses reached out this morning that we are OUT of wet kitten food!
Kitten season is still in full swing so we aren’t slowing down our needs quite yet!

Featuring Mojo who we took in from a local person in MN last week. She had a bad wound on her neck and while at the vet, they pulled out a Cuterebra. She’s as sweet as can be and feeling much better!

☀️🐾 Luna Bean is soaking up the last days of summer! Formerly known as Truly, Luna has been home with her family for a little over 8 months, and we couldn’t be happier to see how wonderfully she’s doing! ❤️

Luna has been living her best life and enjoying all kinds of firsts — especially her trips to the camper. She loves golf cart rides, boat rides, beach days, and taking in all the sights and sounds of summer. She’s still deciding what she thinks about fish, but she’s VERY curious! 🎣😂

With school starting and summer winding down, Luna is making sure to soak up every last bit of sunshine and family time. ☀️🌊 Her family says she is hands-down their favorite dog they’ve ever had and that she is loved more than they could ever put into words. 🥹❤️

Please help 😭😭

We were contacted this week to see if we can help 16 dogs from a northern Minnesota property where things got out of control. They said if they cannot find help, they will need to put them down. We were grateful they reached out for assistance but we don’t have a fosters open for 16 dogs!

We do not have much info other than the dogs are a couple years old.

We are desperately looking for fosters so we can help as many as possible on Sunday!

Another boy on the euthanasia list (black and white boy on the bed)💔

He’s got two things against him: heartworm and scared

Cerulean is at a southern shelter and they need rescue commitment asap or he will be humanely euthanized. He is great with dogs!

We need two things in order to help Cerulean:
