Riding Light Horse Camp 2026 was this last weekend. While the weather was wetter than we might have liked, God's provision for us was so beautiful! We held camp at Hidden Acres Chistian Center this year due to construction at Brushy Creek state park. With all the rain, we would have canceled camp had we planned to go to Brushy! Instead we were in cabins, had access to indoor activities and an indoor arena, and lots of fire wood!! It was muddy and we didn't ride how we may have had it been dry, but attitudes were good and everyone enjoyed the time together. God is so good!

Officially, Monday was our last parade for 2026. It's such a blessing to know these people and be a part of what God is doing to change lives through Riding Light.
After the parade we took the horses to the Twin Lakes area and rode on the road. It was very pretty!

Party week!! While the regular classes were finished, last week was our "party week" - 2 evenings of fun at the Farm. We played games, ate campfire food, leftover goodies from the Open House, and of course, rode horses! Mentors could ride as well as students and we rode around on the trails on the Triple J. It was a blessing to see so many smiling faces!

A big welcome to Sox. A new addition to our herd! Sox is a 24 year old quarter horse gelding who is super-sweet. He is settling in well. Thanks so much to Tim and Cheryl Rouse! We love him already!
