Are you are able to become a recurring donor to help add a layer of stability to our collective care in these capitalist systems? There are options to give monthly. We know $2000 can be a tiny percentage of some households' annual budgets and that $10 is a huge amount of some households' budgets. Class disparity is a real thing in our current systems.

We don't want you to give until it hurts, we want you to give until you feel good.

This is a post about our 2026 Summer Backpacks for neighbors that are unhoused in Upshur County, WV.

4 packs of body wipes
30 aloe or after sun lotion
30 can openers
80 trash bags
10 flashlights with batteries
12 reusable water bottles
20 emergency tents
20 emergency sleeping bags
30 cooling towels
27 dental floss
30 DEET free bug repellent
24 first aid kits
28 rain ponchos **given
30 battery packs for recharging phones
11 sunblock
160 rolls of tp
A lot of pairs of summer socks in various sizes

Things we have plenty of from previous backpack distributions - chapstick, toothpaste, toothbrushes, blankets, emergency blankets, emory boards, etc... Comment on our post if you have a question about donating something not listed and want to check first if we already have it.

Food is love. Here is our list of needs to make the next free community meal on June 13th.

𝐖𝐞'𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩.

Ingredients needed for this Community Baked Potato Bar:
♡ 1- 16oz cornstarch
♡ 12- 12oz cans unsweetened evaporated milk
♡ 3- 12 oz cans tomato paste
♡ 5- #10 cans crushed or diced tomatoes
♡ 1 large iodized salt
♡ 100 pieces of fresh fruit- like apples, bananas, plums, kiwis, or oranges **given
♡ 2- 3lb bags of any type onions
♡ 12 bell peppers of any colors
♡ 3- 32oz containers sour cream

𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴:
1 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 what you will be gifting toward the meal so we can update the list with what is still needed. Can't get all of something? Every size donation matters! Let us know the amount you are able to give.
