Golden Isles Track Club teams up 6/7/2026 Saturday @ 7am with the St. Simons Land Trust to celebrate National Trails Day at Guale Preserve on St. Simons.

Running or hiking on trails has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance focus!
Navigating roots, rocks, and uneven paths requires concentration, which engages the brain and promotes mindfulness.
Exposure to nature during trail runs can improve cognitive function, increase intrinsic motivation, and even support immune system health
Many runners report a sense of mental clarity and relaxation, making trail running a therapeutic activity for mental well-being
