When you know it’s your day to come to LifeWise 🥳

Today was the first time in our program’s history where we were able to use our full sized bus to transport students and it was as great as imagined. The students LOVED it. We wrapped up classes this week and as I reflect on this school year, I’m truly grateful and humbled by God’s provision. We just met our superintendent and will be expanding come the Fall. This is an answered prayer from middle school families we spoke with. We will now be operating in grades 6-8 at both middle schools beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Our strong relationship with the school district and by God’s grace has allowed this to happen. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. He wants His children back and we are SO fortunate and blessed at LifeWise Academy to provide Bible education to these public school students during school hours.

As we wrap up our soft launch for 4th and 5th grade, I’m so grateful that God gave us the opportunity to spend the last 7 weeks with these students and share more about Him! While we’re sad to see classes come to an end, we’re excited and hopeful to see these students again in the fall.

At the beginning of last year, we had no idea when we would be able to launch with elementary students. Seeing that become a reality has been incredible, and it’s been so encouraging to watch God continue to pave the way for this to happen in our community.

I’m also incredibly grateful for our team and the sacrifices they’ve made each week to pour into these students, show up consistently, and create a classroom environment that is fun, engaging, and interactive!

Only 9 Days Left! Will You Be Part of the Final 23? ⛰️🌟

God has a big vision for the students at LifeWise Academy in Brownsburg and He has invited us to participate in it! Over the past few weeks, we've seen God’s provision through the 7 pioneering partners who have stepped up (thank you!).

We have 9 days left to meet our goal. We are looking for 23 more people to lock in a $30 monthly partnership. This isn't just a donation; it's a direct investment in helping children hear the Gospel and 'beat the cliffhanger' in their lives.

Who will join us in these final, critical steps of faith? We can’t wait to celebrate reaching the summit with you!
Be part of the Final 23. Scan the code in the image now to make your 'Yes' count or visit www.lifewise.org/brownsburgin to give today.

Why "Polishing the Cup" Never Works ✝️🥤🤢

Most of us have been there: making sure the kids or ourselves look great for photos, keeping the house tidy for guests, and trying our best to "act right" in public. We are experts at fixing the exterior! But this week at LifeWise, we showed our students why just "looking good" is a dead end.

The "Gross Cup" Experiment 🎨

Our students spent time decorating the outside of a plastic cup until it looked perfect. The catch? We filled the inside with a "disgusting" mix of mustard, vinegar, buffalo sauce, and milk.

The lesson was clear: A beautiful exterior can’t hide a "messy" heart. This is exactly what the prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel warned about—we can try to follow rules on the outside, but our hearts still need help.

The Real Solution: Jesus 🙌

We didn’t leave the students with a gross cup! We pointed them to the only solution for the "messes" in our lives:

The New Covenant: Jesus didn't just offer to "clean" the old cup. He established a New Covenant through His sacrifice to give us a fresh start.

True Forgiveness: His blood provides the deep cleansing our hearts actually require, something we can't do for ourselves.

The Holy Spirit: Transformation isn’t a solo project! Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to live inside us, giving us the power to obey God because we love Him, not just because we have to.

The Takeaway for Our Families ❤️
Real change doesn't come from trying harder to "look like a perfect family." It comes from admitting our hearts are messy and accepting the only One capable of changing us from the heart out.

In this week’s elementary classes, we had the students race to build the tallest tower that wouldn’t fall down. It was a friendly boys vs. girls competition. The girls won!

Can you tell which tower belonged to the boys and which tower belonged to the girls? Comment below!

We talked about the Tower of Babel and how at that time, the people wanted to make a name for themselves to seek fame and honor. This was not honoring to God and so God confused their languages to where they couldn’t understand each other and their tower crumbled because of it. The pride of the people is what led to the tower falling apart. We discussed how a posture of humility is important as that was the example Jesus set for us. Revelation 7:9-10 discussed how one day Jesus will gather together all of God’s people-from every tribe and language and how they all will worship God!

A great redemption from this story in the Old Testament for the hope of what’s to come!

We showed the students many examples of how to be humble (refusing to think of myself as more important than I am) to their friends, siblings, teachers, parents, and others in their life.

C.S. Lewis says “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.”

How can you show humility this week? Comment below!
