Very excited to announce that we will be expanding our tutoring program to Pine Tree Elementary School in Avon in the next couple of weeks! We can't wait to get started working with the students of Pine Tree and the exceptional volunteer tutors from Avon High School!

Children who have a mentor in their lives have an increased high school graduation rate, better attitude about school, higher college enrollment rates, enhanced self-esteem, improved behavior, and a decreased likelihood of initiating drug and alcohol use (youth.gov).

Impact Youth is currently trying to add more male mentors to our program! If you know of any male high school students (ages 16 & up), college students, or young adults who would make an excellent role model to an elementary aged boy, please refer them to our program!

This opportunity helped me to mature into the individual I am today.
