This year has been marked by meaningful engagement, powerful moments of community connection, and essential support for families across Brooklyn and beyond.
Throughout the year, our team continued to deliver maternal and child health support through our H.O.P.E. and MIH programs, providing parents and caregivers with guidance, culturally grounded breastfeeding education, and assistance navigating prenatal and postpartum care.
Our Women’s Empowerment and Wellness Education sessions flourished, offering workshops on emotional well-being, financial empowerment, healthy eating, self-care, and parenting. These gatherings created moments of connection and gave many the renewed strength and belonging they needed.
CRCEC also remained active in community advocacy through our C.A.M.E.R.A. wellness initiatives and violence-prevention efforts with the P.A.T.H. program in partnership with the 67th Precinct Clergy Council (The God Squad) and the Mayor's Office for Prevention of Hate Crimes.
This year also brought powerful progress through our Family and Youth Peer Support (FYPS) programming — offering youth guidance, family advocacy, and culturally grounded emotional support that empowers resilience, communication, and healing.
Your generosity helps expand maternal and child health services, strengthen empowerment programs, enhance community advocacy, and sustain our food and health outreach efforts.
Thank you for believing in our mission and standing with Brooklyn families.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Sharon Coombs-Rose
Executive Director, CRCEC
