One of our favorite things about life at Imagine Center Farm is seeing the friendships that blossom here. Some are between people who share laughter, hugs, silly moments, and the simple joys of everyday life. Others are between participants and the animals they love and care for.

Different as they may look, these connections all have something in common: they bring joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging. It doesn’t get much better than that. 💚🐴🐐

Swipe to see some of the moments of connection we enjoyed this week.

Social media has been quiet, but the farm sure hasn’t!

We’ve been hard at work tackling projects big and small to keep this place growing and thriving. Here’s a peek behind the scenes at some of the sweat, dirt, and determination that goes into caring for the farm.

Good things are happening. 💚🌿

Earlier this week at our Spring Planting Event, we had the special honor of sharing two meaningful announcements celebrating the people who help make the farm what it is.

The greenhouse has officially been named the Kristy Davenport Greenhouse in recognition of Kristy’s incredible work in building it from the ground up and her continued dedication and contributions to the farm over the years.

We also celebrated the naming of the office after Stacey Vanvleet, honoring all she has done to keep things running seamlessly—ensuring compliance, managing documentation, and keeping everything organized and on track. She truly runs the office like a well-oiled machine.

Both Kristy and Stacey are hardworking, deeply dedicated, kind, and highly professional leaders whose impact is felt every single day. These name dedications are a small reflection of the lasting legacy they’ve built here.

More than anything, this serves as a reminder that every successful business, nonprofit, organization, or community is ultimately about the people behind it. The relationships, dedication, and heart people bring each day are what truly make a place special.

Congratulations to you both—you’ve more than earned it.

Let’s shout out Michael today! 🎉

As our Director, he’s incredibly dedicated to the farm and the people with IDD we support. He shows up every day with heart, hard work, and a steady presence — and somehow still manages to bring levity and positivity when things get tough.

We see how hard you’re working, Michael, and we’re really grateful for you. Hope today feels like a good one. Happy Birthday! 🌿💛

What an incredible day at the farm! 🌱☀️

Today’s Spring Planting Event was full of community, connection, and celebration. We were so excited to welcome so many people out to plant flowers and crops, enjoy delicious food, spend time together, and support our mission.

A huge THANK YOU to Smokehouse 52 BBQ for the amazing BBQ, and to George’s Saline Inn for the wings, sweet treats and refreshments. Your generosity helped make this event so special, and we are incredibly grateful for your donations and support. More thank-yous to come as we continue celebrating everyone who made today possible!

Our silent auction was also a huge success — congratulations to all of our lucky winners! Some of the amazing items included:
• Coffee and caramels from Costa Rica ☕
• Gift cards to Mac’s Seafood Market & Restaurant
• A movie night basket featuring gift cards to Domino’s Pizza and Cinemark Ann Arbor 20 and IMAX 🎬
• An autographed photo from Jahmai Jones ⚾
• A drum and four free music lessons from Oz’s Music 🥁

Most of all, today was about celebrating how far we’ve come and everything still growing ahead of us. There was something especially meaningful about gathering together to enjoy the beauty and purpose of the farm we’ve worked so hard to build while planting the seeds for the next season of growth — both in our fields and in our community. 🌱💚

Thank you to everyone who came, planted, donated, bid, volunteered, and supported us. Days like today remind us just how much can grow when a community comes together.

We’ve been having so much fun watching our page grow lately 🌱 — but today we want to take a quick break from the “road to 1,000 followers” to talk about something even more important…

Our Spring Planting Event is TOMORROW! 🌷☀️

Come one, come all! Whether you’ve visited the farm before or have been quietly following along online, we’d love to have you join us. There’s something special about gathering together, getting our hands in the dirt, and helping create a space filled with purpose, inclusion, joy, and community.

Bring your family, bring a friend, and come spend some time with us as we plant, connect, laugh, and celebrate the season together. 💚

We can’t wait to see you at the farm tomorrow!

883 already?! 🌿💛

A few days ago we were hoping to reach 800 by the end of the week… and now we’re racing toward 1,000!

That’s 883 more people who now know about our farm, its story, and the incredible individuals we are honored to serve here. And maybe most importantly, 883 more people are seeing the joy we cultivate here. 883 people to read about how folks like Kyle, Jessica, Amy, Tony, and many others are finding their purpose and their belonging as farmers, woodworkers, gardeners, cooks, friends, and community members.

Every follow, share, and comment helps more people learn about the importance of inclusion, dignity, and meaningful vocational opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This community is growing so quickly, and we are incredibly grateful you’re here helping this mission grow 🤍

1K is officially in sight 👀

When we get there… how should we celebrate?!

Wait… yesterday we were at 792 followers and today we hit 813!! 🌿💛

This community is amazing.

Every follow and share helps us create more meaningful work opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities — and helps more people discover what inclusion can look like.

Now let’s see if we can make it to 850 by the end of the week ✨

Share our page, invite a friend, and help us keep growing this mission 🤍

Wow - we have 792 followers on our page 🌿 can you help us get to 800 by the end of the week?!

At our farm, we focus on creating meaningful work experiences for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Often this type of work doesn’t “go viral”. But it’s important and it matters deeply. The wider we can spread the word about what we are doing, the more individuals we can support.

If you’d like to help us grow this mission, sharing our page with someone who cares about inclusion would mean so much 💛
