Brooklyn Scout Cabin Association The Brooklyn Scout Cabin Association maintains and manages the Brooklyn Scout Cabin, a community reso The Brooklyn Scout Cabin Association maintains the Cabin.

The Brooklyn Scout Cabin was built in 1952 for a meeting place for area Boy and Girl Scouts. Today it still serves area Scouts as a place to meet, work on badges, get together, and celebrate. The Scouts have made the Cabin their own displaying their accomplishments. We are a non-profit organization that raises money to pay the utility bills, insurance, and repairs. We also perform general maintena

nce and cleaning. We currently have a 99 year lease from the Village of Brooklyn for the land. While the Village owns the land the building is not deeded to anyone. The Cabin is a community resource that serves the Scouts well. They have taken ownership and made it their go to meeting place.
