U of M Big House Games
What an unforgettable day!

On Friday, April 3 SO Adrian College, SO Onsted Middle School & Area 29 created lasting memories as we watched our athletes and peers shine at the Big House. Standing on such a historic field—where elite athletes compete—and sharing that experience through an incredible Special Olympics event is truly indescribable. We are deeply honored to have been invited and are excited for future opportunities with U of M Special Olympics.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing peers and family members for being part of this experience and helping make the day even more meaningful and inspiring for our athletes. Because of all of you, we continue to grow!

Adrian High School Unified Champion Schools kicked off Inclusion Week Activities with themed dress-up days. Tuesday was Superhero Day.

Students also held a Whole School Engagement Activity on Tuesday where Unified Club Members passed out bracelets, lanyards, stickers, and pencils, and students signed a pledge poster to Pleged to Spread the Word Inclusion.

On Wednesday, the whole school joined together to cheer on the Maples Unified Basketball Team in their 5th annual Unified vs. Staff Basketball Game. The Unified Team dominated the court in a 22 to 13 win over the Adrian High School Staff.

The Game was kicked off by the singing of our National Anthem, performed by Unified Athlete Kendra Tucker and High School Choir Director Steve Antalek, and the game was announced by Unified Athlete Jason Yancer.
