Congratulations on your enrollment into the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Your participants may begin enrolling upon receipt of this email.

To Use the Kroger Community Rewards Program:
Visit http://www.kroger.com. Once you are logged into your Kroger account, you can search for Special Olympics Michigan Area 29 either by name or WE002 & then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account, which requires some basic information, a valid email address, & a rewards card.

*Customers must have a registered Kroger rewards card account to link to your organization.
*If a member does not yet have a Kroger rewards card, please let them know they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger

REMEMBER, purchases will not count for our organization until after you register your rewards card.
You must swipe your registered Kroger rewards card or use the phone number that is related to your registered Kroger rewards card when shopping for each purchase to count.

Yesterday was a sad day. The softball team had their last practice. The athletes, coaches, parents and area director had a great time each week at practice. Their last game is tomorrow at the state competition.

Area 29 (Lenawee & Hillsdale Counties) Special Olympics is holding one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!

We're selling raffle tickets based on the **Michigan Daily 4 Evening Drawing**. Each ticket is **$25** and gives you **313 chances to win cash** throughout the raffle.

While Special Olympics is a large organization, each local area is responsible for raising funds to cover expenses such as practices, equipment, uniforms, competitions, and other operating costs for our athletes.

If you're interested in purchasing a ticket, please let me (Joanna Botte)know! If you know someone else who might be interested, I'd really appreciate you sharing this with them or sending them my way.

Area 29 is currently working on creating a Bowling & a Corn hole team for the upcoming season.

Practices will be starting soon, & the State Competition is scheduled for October 29–30.

Before we move forward, we'd like to know who is interested & determine the best way to organize our teams.

Practice Locations:

Bowling: Lenawee County
Co****le: Hillsdale County

If you are interested in participating, please make sure you can commit to attending regular practices throughout the season.
