💙 Diaper Need Awareness Week may have ended, but the need and our commitment doesn’t stop here.

Expecting Relief is proud to be the first diaper bank in East New York, Brooklyn, helping families facing financial hardship keep their babies clean, dry, healthy, and cared for.

We are incredibly grateful to the National Diaper Bank Network for welcoming us as a member and strengthening our ability to advocate for families experiencing diaper need. Through their support, along with diaper donations from Huggies and connections to Cuties, we continue filling critical gaps for families in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Baby2Baby for partnering with us in both Brooklyn, NY and Broward County, FL, providing diapers, baby gear, hygiene products, and other essentials that help families navigate financial hardship with greater dignity. We also thank Honest and the incredible sponsors and brands helping make this work possible.

And to every school, business, organization, donor, volunteer, and individual who has hosted a diaper drive or donated even one pack of diapers—THANK YOU. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to The View for giving us the opportunity to share the story behind Expecting Relief and highlight the journey of our founder Vanessa Bracetty. 💜

What began as a lived experience—understanding firsthand the challenges families face when trying to make ends meet—became a mission to ensure other families don’t have to navigate those hardships alone.

Today, that experience has grown into a nonprofit making an impact across New York and Florida, providing food, diapers, maternal health resources, menstrual essentials, education, and other critical support to families facing economic hardship.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bring greater awareness to our mission and the communities we serve. Every family deserves to feel supported, seen, and, most importantly, relieved.

🎒📚 Ready, Set, Learn! ✏️🍎 Tomorrow during our food distribution we will be distributing back packs and school supplies from 2-3pm at our office 2832 Fulton St Brooklyn NY 11207. First come first served!

Starting the school year prepared can make a big difference in a child’s confidence and ability to focus on learning. Every child deserves to walk into the classroom with the bookbag and school supplies they need to feel ready, included, and excited to succeed.

Through our Back-to-School efforts and partnership with , Expecting Relief is helping families ease the financial burden of purchasing school essentials while making sure students are equipped for a strong start. 💙

A new school year brings new opportunities, new goals, and new possibilities. Let’s make sure our children are prepared to make the most of them!

💜 542 Tubes. 542 Acts of Care. 💜

A huge thank you to Fluerish Intimate Wash The Fleurish for generously donating 542 tubes of intimate wash to support the women and mothers we serve!

Feminine hygiene is essential—but it can also be expensive. This donation helps women maintain their hygiene and confidence without having to choose between personal care and other necessities while stretching limited household funds.

Thank you, Fluerish, for helping us provide dignity, care, and relief to our community. 💜

We had an amazing day partnered with at their annual Birth Baby and Beyond Health Expo providing food.

Many families came out to explore resources and services supporting unborn children, infants, and toddlers. Great day of community collaboration!

Millions of people struggle to afford basic menstrual products every month and period poverty impacts dignity, health, education, and opportunity.
