TODAY ON THIRD: Following last weekend’s rainout, thousands of costumed children and families proudly marched in the 60th Annual Ragamuffin Parade on Third Avenue today! Check out these highlights from this beautiful, warm day in as we prepare for tomorrow’s Third Avenue Festival!

The Merchants of Third Avenue Civic Improvement Association, Inc. held its September membership meeting at Greenhouse Cafe, during which updates were shared on a number of upcoming exciting events and programs taking place on Third Avenue. Organizer Leo Bifulco laid out plans for the Third Avenue Festival, now taking place THIS Sunday, October 4th. Members of the Ragamuffin Parade committee gave an update on the beloved children’s tradition, now set for THIS Saturday, October 3rd. Organizers Maureen Brody and Jeanine Condon spoke about the upcoming fundraiser for taking place October 21st at Cebu Bar & Bistro (see ), and Sheila Brody announced a $1,000 Third Avenue shopping spree to be raffled off at the Festival as part of the Association’s program. It’s definitely busy season in !
