My mission is to help struggling teen moms, and their children, and mentoring them to be the mothers their children deserve.

We’re raising $10,000 to help launch GEMS — Girls Empowered through Mentorship & Support, a planned 12-week mentorship program for 15 girls ages 13–17.

Raising a teenage girl in today’s world isn’t always easy. Between peer pressure, social media, bullying, self-esteem challenges, and trying to figure out who she is, your daughter may face struggles she doesn’t always know how to talk about.

That’s why we’re creating GEMS — Girls Empowered through Mentorship & Support! 💎

Through Ms. Houston’s Caring Hands, GEMS will provide girls ages 13–17 with a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they can grow, learn, and discover their worth.

💎✨ INTRODUCING GEMS FOUNDATIONS✨💎

Girls Empowered through Mentorship & Support

Ms. Houston’s Caring Hands is excited to introduce GEMS Foundations, a mentorship program created especially for girls ages 13–15.

GEMS was created from a very personal place. I wanted to give young girls something I needed when I was growing up—a safe place, positive guidance, someone to listen, and a support system without judgment.

Through GEMS, our girls will have opportunities to:

💎 Build confidence
💎 Discover and understand their worth
💎 Develop important life skills
💎 Learn how to navigate challenging situations
💎 Build healthy relationships and boundaries
💎 Set goals for their future
💎 Receive mentorship, encouragement, and support

Most importantly, we want every girl who walks through our doors to know:

You are safe.
You are heard.
You are supported.
You are worthy.

Our first GEMS Foundations 12-week cohort will begin in February 2027 and will be intentionally limited to 10 girls ages 13–15 so we can provide a personal and supportive experience.
