The CoC leverages the power of the collective to raise funds for rhino orphanages, anti-poaching teams and adult rhino rescue & rehab.

We partner with leading organizations on the front line with a mission matching ours: to save the rhino from extinction. The COC is a registered 501c3 non-profit that raises funds to support 'boots on the ground' and 'eyes in the sky' organizations in Africa and around the world who are fighting to save & protect the rhino on a day-to-day basis.

Our Anti-Poaching team is keeping on their toes by getting knocked off their feet by some very tough K9's. "Bite" training with a heavy-duty double-protective sleeve is part of the daily vigor at our sanctuary that keeps dogs sharp and prepared for the real thing >> Pit-Track AP K9 UNIT

PROJECT 084: CoC Rhino Vet Fund supports SOS intervention at Ol Pejeta Conservancy // Kenya.

A few weeks ago southern white rhino, Jay Jay sustained serious injuries in a territorial fight with another bull. Rhinos fight to WIN, and the bull hammered its horns into Jay Jay -- including his hind quarters, with a clear intent to damage breeding tools. For poor Jay Jay, this was the not the first time KWS vets have administered treatment for him after getting tangled in a fight.

KWS vet Dr. Florence Kangeth’e cleaned his wounds and administered antibiotics and pain medication. Throughout the procedure, vital signs were closely monitored to ensure his safety. Once treated, Jay Jay was back on his feet in no time.

NEW K9 CARRIER: GAME CHANGING APU DONATION!
When ex-Special Forces Lieutenant and Pit-Track collaborator Pierre Snook arrived at our Sanctuary with a customized Side by Side .... and said it was OURS, we nearly fell over.

Lt. Pierre is a 'tinker-er' and fitted 2 custom-fit aluminum dog kennels onto the back for K9 transport (with LED lights inside), installed 2 solar-powered winges on front & back, added spotlights that shine directly into the bush for night patrol, and mounted a 60-watt Solar panel on the roof for charging phones, manual spotlights, etc and Increased power to a 100amp gel battery.

We are so SO grateful for this one-of-a-kind machine that puts our Armed K9 detail Next Level! VROOM -ROOM

ZU-PLS CoC AIR WING >> it's been a big week for our APU flying program. Top SA instructor, Bruce McDonald spent time above the clouds with CoC pilot Brandon Baker executing conservation-specific flight training drills, and safety pilot Anton van Loggerenberg was on-site for introductory onboarding. Rhino protection is a higher calling ... Godspeed.
