Words cannot fully express how I feel today. The journey of Prairie Light Refuge began on this date 28 years ago, following the loss of one of my closest friends to su***de. In the years since that dark October day, I have gone through many changes and faced many battles—some I won, some I lost—all ultimately leading me to where I am meant to be.
It feels especially meaningful that today, on the anniversary of his passing, we are receiving a generous $5,000 donation from Showplace Cabinetry. This contribution will directly support our building fund for the future healing center. Moments like this reassure me that Prairie Light is continuing on the right path.
