Happy New Year! We would like to send a heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in any, or all of our charity events in 2025. This past year featured our 12th Swing Fore Special Olympics CT golf tournament, the 14th Annual Bowl A Rama, and our 13th Raise Your Glass Wine tasting event. All 3 events were successful, and fun, and combined raised over $20,000 for their respective charities.

None of this would be possible without the continued support of all our participants, the wonderful people who volunteer at the events year in and year out, the friendly and helpful staff at all the event venues, and the people within the various charities and organizations benefitting from your efforts.

We plan on continuing with these events for as long as possible. Many non-profits have seen drastic cuts, or even elimination, of their government support, and will have to rely even more on the support of the private sector. We know, or at least we hope, that you all have lots of fun at these events. You enjoy the golf, the bowling, the food and the drinks, the awesome entertainment, did I mention the drinks? But we can't lose sight of the fact that we are also helping the various organizations in their efforts to make a difference in someone else's life. That's the big picture.

This year's Swing Fore Special Olympics CT Golf Tournament is already scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, once again at Southington Country Club. We will be adding a new, fun aspect to the event this year, so look for more info in the coming weeks.

We are 3 weeks away from this event. It's time to register! The people at CT Brain Tumor Alliance do such wonderful things to help people afflicted with this disease to cope. They provide support to patients, family, loved ones and care givers to help them through the ordeal. And they need our support to be able to continue to do this. We know, personally, as do many of you, the impact that this disease can have on you physically, emotionally and financially. Receiving support from organizations such as CT Brain Tumor Alliance can make a huge difference in the lives of patients and care givers. You can help make that difference.

And don't forget about the opportunity to visit P.F. Chang's in West Hartford to easily make a contribution. All you have to do is eat!
