Happy Birthday! I would give anything if others could know you, the way. I know you. Your wit, your sarcasm, and your sweet heart. Your talents, your kindness and your faith. My heart breaks for all the pain you suffered after the drugs. The irony, is you were doing a good deed when you broke your ankle. Helping friends move. A gloomy rainy day, and steps that were slick and wet. That is where it started. All the years of struggling because of a doctor who gave you Oxycontin after surgery. How could we have known? We were told it was a great medication, non addictive. By the time you knew it was too late. Your life was never yours after that. You were hostage to the drug. Once the pill mills were shut down and fed- ex was no longer bringing pills from Florida online doctors, you just moved on to other opiates. At times I torture myself with the what ifs. It is your day. You will celebrate in Heaven with other loved ones. We will be missing you here as always. I love you forever.
