clearing up some misconceptions about reading and children who struggle with learning to read! As caregivers it can be helpful to have done understanding of what does and does NOT help kiddos who are having trouble with English and reading in elementary school.

Closing the Gaps partners with TCR to offer one on one tutoring for elementary school students who need some support! Learning gaps are opportunities to grow - not failures of children or parents. PERIOD.

if you have kids who cope completely differently it can be so tough to know what to do or even what to think about it - they might be dealing with the same thing just differently! everyone deals with things in their own way, even the littles!

Let's Keep Our Kids Grounded and Growing!! We are hosting Play Therapy Training THIS SATURDAY from 10AM -12PM on integrating sensory play into play therapy sessions to enhance emotional expression, regulation and coping for children. You'll gain practicals skills you can bring with you to the playroom via hands on activities and discussions, and more!

when ur kid keeps saying the quiet part out loud and you don't know what to do lol. such a blessing and a curse, mostly a blessing though we love encouraging little voices and helping them grow into great communicators.
