1 in 7 people. 1 in 5 children.

That's how many people across the bi-state region face hunger.

Hunger affects people from every background and ZIP code. Those experiencing food insecurity are our neighbors, coworkers, classmates, veterans, seniors, and families facing unexpected challenges.

At the St. Louis Area Foodbank, we're working to ensure that no one has to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.

Through partnerships, food distributions, and community programs, we're helping connect people with the nutritious food they need.

Because everyone deserves access to healthy nutritious food.

📣 Volunteer appreciation post!

Every day we get to meet and spend time with the incredible people who walk through our doors with the intent to make a real difference in our community. Hint: It's our volunteers.

Today we celebrated a birthday with volunteer Savanna and her friends Macy and Ellie who joined us in the repackaging center.

The girls helped pack over 20,000 lbs. of food during their shift. That equates to nearly 17,467 meals, talk about impact!

Happy Birthday Savanna! 🎊

Thank you for generously giving your time. Wishing you the absolute best today and every day.

While our monthly food distribution calendar is a great place to start, it's not the only way neighbors can access food and resources.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank partners with hundreds of pantries, and community organizations across Missouri and Illinois, helping keep shelves stocked and services running year-round.

If you or someone you know is looking for food resources, find a nearby pantry or partner agency using our Pantry Locator tool: https://stlfoodbank.org/find-food/pantry-locations/

The strongest communities aren't measured by their size. They're measured by how people care for one another.

Every day, we see neighbors supporting neighbors through food donations, volunteer hours, advocacy, and acts of generosity big and small.

Those efforts help create a community where fewer people have to worry about where their next meal will come from.

One of the best things about working at the Foodbank is that every day we get to see how much people care. Because, quite frankly, we’re all in this together.

Thank you for all the ways you show up! There’s a lot of work that happens behind the scenes, but at the heart of it all, it’s pretty simple: it’s people taking care of each other.

We are so lucky to be part of this community.

So, don’t forget to do something nice for someone today. You never know how much it might mean.
