Once upon a time there was some asparagus growing wild on the side of a hill… I think a kid named Jack climbed to the top and stole a golden goose or something? Idk… it’s been a while since I’ve heard the story… but I chopped it down today… so don’t worry about the giants… ;)

The twists and turns your life takes… who would have guessed I’d be the girl with tears streaming down her face to hear a rooster crow. That is the BEST sign that Roo-dini is close to 100%. On the heels of loosing Squabbles, our very first farm rescue, Roo-dini, needs all of your prayers, healing vibes and rally cries. We thought we caught his flystrike in time… he is clean (rob bathes him each day), in the basement where he used to live during the winters (before he had buddies and heat panels), on Rob’s lap just like the first days on the farm… we’re doing everything we can. Send all your love and thoughts to our little guy for a hot second… he has a lot of fight in him, and he has been the boss of the farm since day 1. 😉 He has the potential to pull through this!!! We just need a little Roo Rally.
