𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐟𝐢𝐞 𝐗-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐚 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭!! ‼️🌲IN THE BEAUTIFUL COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE REGION OF WASHINGTON 🌲Our team is super excited to be hosting an event at 54-40 Brewing Co 𝟓𝟒𝟒𝟎 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐥, 𝐖𝐀 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟏:𝟑𝟎-𝟑:𝟑𝟎. NOTE: We will have an evite system that we will publish closer to the event for registration. This is to ensure no "dog" congestion at the event. 𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 Saint Bernards of the PNW 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 and are inviting 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 with their well mannered dogs to come out and mingle at an event designed for them.
🐾Meet team members from All Natural Pet Supply 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀 and learn more about what their store sells and why they are a local favorite destination for pet owners.
❤️National Newfoundland Rescue local team members will be on site offering some fun activities and items from our NNR shop for fundraising. We will also be available for rescue and volunteer inquiries.
🐾St Bernards of the Pacific Northwest Rescue will be sharing rescue information, foster meet and greets, and items for fundraising.
🚚 54-40 will be providing food and their beer that is brewed onsite.
🍧 Kona Ice of Evergreen Orchards and Lacamas will have their truck on site for some refreshing treats.
🐾 Bear Prairie Kennels will have team members available for questions about their boarding
facility/property and a raffle for two nights boarding.
📸Willow Bee Photography will be taking event photos and sharing info on her local photography business.
❤️We anticipate this being a one of a kind event for giant breed owners. Be sure to share with your friends.

Bristol wiggled her way into the hearts of her foster family and they decided she was meant to be theirs. We love a good foster fail and a happy ending.

This is the 1st warning about us being CLOSED July 8th -19th.
Natalie will be watching and can help our foster homes if anything goes wrong. Chelsea and Katelynn will NOT be logged into the rescue account and will be taking a much needed break. (this means we will not be responding to pm's) please plan ahead and if you need us for anything ask now. Natalie is doing us a very large favor by taking care of all the emergencies that may happen and the community page while we are away. Please do not overwhelm her! We will not be taking in any new dogs during this time. If you need to surrender then you'll need to wait until we return. We will not be having a meet up for the month of July. Our next meet up will be in Aug and will be announced in events on the community page.
We will do reminders about this closure. Thanks for always supporting us and understanding our need for a break. We appreciate y'all!

We are less than 1 month away from the 4th of July. This is just a reminder to start your safety prep.
If your pup need anxiety meds to make it through GET THEM NOW, do not wait until the start of July. IF YOU HAVE A FOSTER DOG AND HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT MEDS PM US TODAY.
leave pets at home in a cozy space, if really stressed find a space with no windows. Turn on the T.V. or Music and turn it up. start this before dark/ fireworks start. this helps drown out the outside noise. If they need a potty break, do not let them go out alone, use leashes stay in fenced yards and keep them close.
thunder shirts or other compression / ear muffs have been proven to help.
Toys like Lick mats, frozen Kongs or puzzle toys can be a great distraction tools.
Tired dogs are good dogs so before the fireworks start remember to do something to get their energy out.

Seeking 2 hospice foster homes.
What is a hospice foster ? Well, let me explain. A hospice foster is a home for a senior or very ill dog. You as the foster home get to keep the dog the rest of its life but we as the rescue still own them technically. Meaning we pay for medical expenses and make medical decisions and help you however needed. But you get a great dog for a while and you just pay for food and get to spoil them / love them. This is often a bigger ask because we know this dogs life will be shorter.
We have 2 dogs looking for hospice fosters right now.

Annie is so happy to have a forever family. Her new brothers are great, one is a fun playmate and the other drops food. Annie says they are perfect 😄

Wilson is one of the rottie puppies.
Wilson was in the worst shape when we got them. He was severely malnourished and had edema in all 4 legs.
Wilson has been at Katelynn's house for the last month and while the swelling has gone down in 3 of the 4 legs with only slight recurrence, his back left leg has only gotten worse. The poor boy definitely needs another trip to the vet. So we will be adding him to our vet run in June to have him evaluated and come up with a new plan for little Wilson and his edema. Possibly he may need to lose this leg. But if that has to happen better to do it when he is young so he can heal and be very used to his tripod lifestyle if it's needed.
Anyway we will be adding him to the surgery run and raising funds to get this little man taken care of the way he needs to be.
To help us help this puppy be able to puppy like his siblings and leave his bad beginnings behind please donate.
