The Food Bank of Manatee-Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee The Food Bank of Manatee is the largest hunger relief organization based in Manatee County. Locally, nearly 50,000 people live in poverty.

The Food Bank of Manatee is a PLUS program of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee. The Food Bank of Manatee distributes over 4.63 million pounds of food annually to feed families in Manatee County. In addition, we provide 3,000 Emergency Family and Baby Baskets for families in crisis. Each dollar donated can provide 6 meals for hungry children and families.
