Thanks to everyone who came out to our End of Summer Reading Party yesterday! It was a great way to kick off the new school year and a Fall full of fun at Bat City! Special thanks to our friends at reflections_of_manatee and Bishop Science FL for coming out and bringing history and science fun for everyone! And o Anthony Pizzo for drawing free sketches for all our attendees!

If you missed your chance to make some of our fun crafts like a scratch art bus or a weather chart, you can still do that today during Sunday Crafternoon today. The supplies will be on the table in the classroom until 7PM for some self-guided fun, so stop in and get crafty!

Today (8/26) at 6PM: Q***r Book Club! History literally remembers them as roommates, but in Tillie Walden’s latest graphic novel we are exploring the relationship between Charity and Sylvia.

Thursday (8/27) at 6:30PM: Creator Meet-Up! Come talk about your latest projects, network with fellow creators, and talk creator skills!

Saturday, Aug 29 12PM-3PM: End of Summer Reading Magic School Bus Party! Let’s get messy, class! Join Bat City, the Bishop Museum, and Reflections of Manatee for a fun day of experiments, crafts, games, and prizes! It’s all in celebration of summer and all the fun we had! So don’t miss it!
